Experimental platform for climate action
Climate capsule is a mobile and modular installation designed as an intense experience that provides visitors a layered perspective on climate change through scientific facts, art interventions and multimedia content.
The content presented creates a space for a dialogue between scientists, artists and citizens on future scenarios of climate change. Through a visual experience of a dystopian setting in the year 2057, a narrative was created to provoke a subjective feeling of the anticipated future and the willingness to face the consequences of climate change. This art and science platform is a direct call for climate action from all citizens and it reminds us of a unique position and action of each and every one of us.
The climate capsule was designed as an experimental approach that would regularly be reexamined through reflective practice, changing its form, content and program until 2030. Its focus is on observing and reviewing the implementation of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals, as a global and generally-accepted mechanism for achieving a more sustainable and the only possible future.
Kapsula će do 2026. godine biti postavljena u deset zemalja Jugoistočne Evrope, u okviru projekta Climateurope2.
