Although guided by facts, science cannot be viewed separately from the culture in which it exists and serves. Considering the challenges facing humanity today or some of the important questions that intrigue us, it is clear that we cannot approach them from the perspective of individual scientific disciplines. Only through the collaborative work of science, humanities, and arts can we lay the foundation for solving complex global challenges.
